Mrs. "U":

I always enjoyed your English and Spanish classes.  Paoli and the Paoli School system have been blessed with your efforts throughout the years!  I last saw you at Class Night when I presented the Class of 1965 scholarship awards (Class of 1965 40th year reunion)!   While I do not visit Paoli often, I do subscribe to the Paoli newspapers.

My days at Paoli High School continue to be some of the best days of my life.

Mrs. "U":
You helped me to believe in myself and not be afraid to express myself. I have you to thank for my love of poetry and good literature. You made school so much fun. And growing up next to you was a plus. I remember I had my first taste of salmon and of soy gravy at your house. I remember the parties and Halloween at the Old Mineral Springs Hotel! I can also remember the time you drove us straight into a ditch and the time we went to get our senior pictures taken and we were suppose to follow you and we did right down a wrong way street. I remember how you always had time for us, and how you listened. What a wonderful mentor and friend you were. I just want to thank you Mrs. "U" for being there.
Love

Mrs. "U":

You continue to be an inspiration for my writing career! You were one of the few who ardently supported me as a youngster. I'll never forget the creative writing class you created in my senior year 20 years ago ... I was the only student! Was it your way of locking me in a closet ... literally ... for an hour every morning? Thanks to that early kick in the pants, I've served editorships at two magazines and am now a full-time freelancer.

You are loved and in many thoughts!
